Frequently asked questions

What does the Resize for Behance tool do?

It resizes each image you select to 1400 pixels wide and scales the height to keep the original proportions, so nothing is cropped or stretched. A 6000 by 4000 pixel photo becomes 1400 by 933 pixels. Each result is saved as a JPG at 92 percent quality, with Behance_ added to the start of the original file name.

How do I resize images for a Behance project?

Click the area labeled Click to upload your project images and select one or more photos. Each is listed with the note Target: 1400px Wide. Click Resize for Behance, and the tool processes the images in order, marking each Done as its JPG downloads. Use Clear to start over with a different set of images.

Why resize Behance images to 1400 pixels wide?

A consistent width means every image in a project lines up edge to edge and displays at the same scale, which looks far more polished than a mix of sizes. 1400 pixels is wide enough to look sharp on large screens while keeping files light. Tall images keep their full height, so vertical portraits stay intact.

Will small images be enlarged?

Yes. The tool sets every image to exactly 1400 pixels wide, so anything narrower is scaled up, which can make it look soft. Start from your full-size exports so images are only scaled down. Most camera files are far wider than 1400 pixels, so this mainly matters for small graphics, screenshots or heavily cropped frames.

How should photographers structure a Behance project?

Treat each project as a story: open with your strongest frame, group images from one shoot or theme, and keep editing consistent from start to finish. A short description of the brief and your approach helps clients understand the work. If you use Imagen to apply your personal style across a set, export the finished images and resize them here.

Is the Resize for Behance tool free and private?

Yes. It is free, adds no watermark and needs no software. Your images are resized in your browser on your own device and never leave it. To use it, you confirm once that you are a photographer and create or log into a free Imagen account, which unlocks every tool in the collection.
