SVG to BMP Converter
The SVG to BMP Converter turns vector graphics such as logos, watermarks, and icons into bitmap files for photographers and designers working with software that will not read SVG. Add one or many SVG files, convert them in a single batch, and save each as a standard 24-bit BMP with a clean white background.

Frequently asked questions
What does the SVG to BMP Converter do?
It renders SVG vector graphics into BMP bitmap images. Each SVG is drawn at the width and height defined in the file, placed on a white background, and saved as an uncompressed 24-bit BMP named after the original. You can convert a single graphic or a whole batch, and the process runs in your browser with no extra software.
How do I convert SVG files to BMP?
Click or Drag SVG files here and choose one or more SVGs. They appear in a list marked Ready, and the Convert to BMP button appears below. Click it and each file shows Processing and then Done as its BMP downloads. Your browser may ask once for permission to download multiple files when you convert a batch.
What happens to transparent areas in my SVG?
BMP files in this format do not store transparency, so the converter fills the background with white before drawing your graphic. Transparent areas of a logo or icon become white in the BMP. If you need transparency preserved, convert to PNG instead; if you need a different background color, add a background shape to the SVG before converting.
How large will the BMP image be?
The BMP uses the size set in the SVG's width and height attributes, so a logo defined at 600 by 200 becomes a 600 by 200 pixel bitmap. To get a larger bitmap, increase those values in the SVG before converting; the vector artwork scales cleanly to any size. BMP files are uncompressed, so large images produce large files.
When would a photographer need a BMP version of a logo?
Some older software, camera utilities, printing kiosks, and Windows applications only accept bitmap formats like BMP. Converting your studio logo or signature watermark from SVG gives you a version that works there. Keep the SVG as your master file, since it scales to any size without losing sharpness, and create bitmaps only for the places that require them.
Is the SVG to BMP Converter free and private?
Yes. The converter is free, adds no watermark, and needs no installation. Your SVG files are processed in your browser on your own device and never uploaded to a server. On your first visit, answer that you are a photographer and create or log in to a free Imagen account once, and every tool unlocks.
