Frequently asked questions
What pixel size do I need for a 13x19 print?
At 300 DPI, a 13 x 19 inch print needs 3900 x 5700 pixels. This tool produces exactly that canvas in portrait orientation for every image, saved as a JPG at 95 percent quality and named Print_13x19_ followed by the original file name. The target is shown next to each file before you start.
How do I resize photos for 13x19 printing?
Click the area labeled Click or Drag Images Here and select one or more photos. Each appears in the list with its 13x19 target and a Ready status. Press Resize & Download. The tool processes every image in turn, downloads each JPG automatically and marks it Done. Large canvases take a moment each, so let the batch finish before closing the page.
Will my photos be cropped?
No. Each photo is scaled to fit completely inside the 13x19 canvas and centered, with white filling the rest. A 13x19 sheet is longer than a 3:2 camera frame, so a vertical photo gets white bands at the top and bottom, which many photographers use as a natural print border. Horizontal photos get wider bands, since the canvas is portrait.
Which file types are accepted?
Any image your browser can open works, such as JPG, PNG and WebP, and you can add several at once. All results are JPGs at 95 percent quality, accepted by every print lab and printer driver. If you print on your own inkjet, you can open the file directly in your printing software.
Why do photographers print at 13x19?
13x19 is the largest sheet many desktop photo printers handle, so it is a favorite for fine art prints, exhibition proofs and portfolio pages. The size is large enough to show real detail while staying affordable. Printing with a white margin, as this tool creates, also makes prints easier to handle, sign and mat.
Is the 13x19 resizer free?
It is free, adds no watermark and does not need any software. Your photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded. The first time you visit, you confirm you are a photographer and create or log into a free Imagen account, which unlocks every tool. Imagen also offers AI editing software that learns your personal style.
