Pano 18:9 Crop
Pano 18:9 Crop turns any photo into a wide 18:9 panoramic frame, the same as 2:1, in one click. Photographers can drop in a single image or a whole batch, and each one is center-cropped to the panoramic ratio at full resolution and saved as a high-quality JPG for banners, headers, and widescreen displays.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Pano 18:9 Crop tool do?
It crops images to an 18:9 aspect ratio, which is the same shape as 2:1: twice as wide as it is tall. The crop is centered automatically. If a photo is wider than 2:1, the sides are trimmed; if it is narrower, the top and bottom are trimmed. No pixels are resampled, so the cropped area keeps the full resolution of your original.
How do I crop images to 18:9?
Drop your images onto the Drop images here or click to upload area, or click it to choose files. Each one is listed as Ready. Click Process & Download and the tool crops every image in turn, marking each as Processing and then Done. The results download as JPGs with pano_18_9_ added to the start of each original file name.
Can I choose which part of the image is kept?
No, the crop is always centered, which works well for most landscapes, skylines, and scenes where the subject sits near the middle. If your subject is near the top, bottom, or one side, crop it manually in your editor instead, or recompose with more space around the subject when you shoot so the centered 2:1 crop includes it.
What quality are the cropped files?
The cropped images are saved as JPGs at 95 percent quality, high enough for print and web with no visible compression in normal viewing. The pixel dimensions match the cropped area of your original exactly. A 6000 by 4000 pixel photo, for example, becomes 6000 by 3000 pixels, because the tool trims 500 pixels from the top and bottom.
Where is an 18:9 panoramic crop useful for photographers?
The 2:1 shape suits website hero banners, blog headers, widescreen slideshows, and panoramic prints, and it gives landscapes and cityscapes a cinematic, wide feel. Wedding and event photographers often use it for venue overviews and gallery cover images. Because the tool works in batches, you can produce a consistent set of panoramic crops for a whole series quickly.
Is the Pano 18:9 Crop tool free?
Yes. It is free, adds no watermark, and runs in your browser with nothing to install, so your images are processed on your own device and never uploaded. To use it, you confirm that you are a photographer and create or log into a free account once, and every tool is unlocked after that.
