Ashley Jean is a self-taught traveling professional photographer and public speaker based in the Northern Virginia area. We are honored to have Ashley on the podcast to share her insights and advice with other Imageners.

One of the most important things in a successful photography business, Ashley reckons, is organization, which starts from the moment she gets a lead for a photo session. However, in this clip from episode 17 of Workflows, she emphasizes the importance of exporting her files to two hard drives and a cloud-based storage to have a backup in case a client requests for re-editing.

Before delivering the gallery to clients, she writes a personalized note using her online picture proof gallery and photo delivery service, Pixieset. Ashley creates one catalog per client per month, making it easier for her to find things in the future.

If you are interested in hearing more from Ashley, including her entire workflow from lead to delivery, listen to the full episode wherever you listen to podcasts or on the official Workflows podcast page.
