AI Photo Merger
Combine two or more photos into one wide image with the AI Photo Merger. Photographers can place before-and-after shots, diptychs, triptychs and sequence frames side by side in the order they were selected, at their original sizes, and download the merged result as a single lossless PNG ready for sharing or client review.

Frequently asked questions
How does the AI Photo Merger combine photos?
It places your images next to each other in a single row, left to right, in the order they were selected. Each photo keeps its original pixel size; nothing is scaled or cropped. The merged image is as wide as all the photos added together and as tall as the tallest one, with every photo aligned to the top edge.
How do I merge photos?
Click the upload area and select at least two images in the same file dialog; if you choose only one, the tool asks you to select at least 2. The selected files are listed by name. Click Merge Photos and the combined image downloads automatically as merged-photo.png. To change the order, select the files again in the sequence you want.
What happens if my photos are different sizes?
They are joined at their original sizes, aligned along the top. A shorter photo leaves empty space below it, which is transparent in the PNG and may show as white, black or a checkerboard depending on the app you open it in. For a clean result, resize all the photos to the same height before merging. Very large camera files may also exceed your browser's maximum image size.
Can I stack photos vertically or add a gap between them?
No. The tool only joins images horizontally, edge to edge, with no border or spacing. For a vertical layout, rotate each photo 90 degrees, merge them, then rotate the result back. To add a gap, give each photo a border in your editor before merging, or place the images in a layout app instead.
What can photographers use a photo merger for?
Before-and-after comparisons of an edit, diptychs and triptychs for a portfolio or social post, getting-ready and ceremony pairs from a wedding, and step-by-step sequences such as sports action or a pose series. Matching the photos to the same height first keeps the edges flush, so the merged image looks like a deliberate layout rather than a quick collage.
Is the Photo Merger free and private?
Yes. It is free, adds no watermark and requires no software. Your photos are combined in your browser on your own device and are never uploaded. To unlock the tool you confirm once that you're a photographer and create or log into a free Imagen account, and then all of the tools on the site are available.
