Shot List Generator

It helps you build a shot list for a photo or video shoot and save it as a spreadsheet file. For each shot you enter a name, such as Master Wide, and a description of the action or framing. Shots appear in a list as you add them, you can remove any you no longer need, and the finished list exports as a CSV file with one row per shot.

Type a shot name in the Shot Name field and, optionally, the action or framing in Description/Action. Click Add to List and the shot appears below while the fields clear for the next one. Click the x beside any shot to remove it. Once you have at least one shot, an Export CSV button appears, and clicking it downloads shot_list.csv.

Yes. CSV is a plain text format that Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets all open, with a Shot column and a Description column. Each value is quoted, so commas and quotation marks in your descriptions stay in the right cell. From there you can add columns for lens, location, timing or who is responsible, then print the list or share it with a second shooter or video crew before the day.

No. The list lives only in the open page, so refreshing or closing the tab clears it. Click Export CSV before you leave to keep a copy, and build longer lists in one sitting. If you plan the same kind of shoot often, keep the exported CSV as a template and edit it for each new job.

List every must-have shot in the order you expect to capture it, with a clear name and a short note on framing, people involved, or action. For events, group shots by part of the day, and mark the ones that cannot be repeated, such as an entrance or a toast. A complete list keeps you calm on the day and makes sure nothing important is missed.

Yes, it is free and nothing needs to be installed. It runs entirely in your browser, so the shots you type stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. Access requires answering that you are a photographer and creating or logging in to a free Imagen account once, which unlocks every tool.
