  • The challenge is open to all photographers above the age of 18. You will need a subscription or a free trial to Imagen to participate. For the full terms and conditions click here.

  • In order to take part you’ll need to share an Instagram post with a portfolio-worthy photo you took that made you or your client laugh.

    Make sure to include the following in the caption:
    ●   The hashtag #ImagenChallenge
    ●   A description of the captured moment and an explanation of what about it made you or your client
         laugh.
    ●   Mention @imagen.ai

    You will also need to tag @imagen.ai in the photo.

  • Yes! If you already have a photo posted on your Instagram which you would like to submit, all you need to do is edit the post caption to include the above requirements – and you’re in.

  • Yes! The goal of the #ImagenChallenge is to inspire photographers around the world to share the stories behind their funniest captures. You can (and should) definitely join even if you have never used Imagen.

  • All photography genres are welcome – weddings, portraits, reportage, newborns, families, sports, etc. The only requirement is that your photo should make the viewer laugh—or at least smile :)

    Also, make sure to pick a photo that is technically good in terms of composition, lighting, color etc. in order to boost your chances of winning.

    Oh, and don't forget to tag it with #ImagenChallenge and mention @imagen.ai.

  • The 3 winners will be announced within 30 days after the challenge ends.

  • There will be 3 winners, in first, second and third place. They will be chosen by a panel of judges who are all industry-leading photographers. The judges will consider the following criteria for selection:

    1. Composition and framing
    2. Lighting and color
    3. Storytelling

  • No. Only one submission per person/team will be accepted. If you choose to submit multiple entries, only the first photo shared will be taken into consideration.
