What does Smooth Skin do?
Smooth Skin is an AI tool that detects faces in each photo, masks the skin, and softens imperfections and fine lines for a natural, polished look. It does the repetitive retouching for you, so you don’t smooth skin by hand photo after photo.
Will the skin look over-smoothed?
No. Smooth Skin softens imperfections while keeping skin texture, so people still look like themselves. You choose the intensity: follow a preset or set your own.
Does it affect parts of the photo that aren't skin?
No. Smooth Skin works through a mask on the skin only. Backgrounds, clothing and eyes stay untouched, so the rest of your edit looks exactly as you intended.
Should I use Smooth Skin or Face Retouch?
Use Smooth Skin for high-volume galleries such as weddings and events: there’s no project size limit and it works alongside Denoise. Use Face Retouch for close portraits and headshots that need pixel-level retouching of blemishes and under-eye shadows; it takes up to 500 photos per project and can’t be combined with Denoise.
Does Smooth Skin work with my editing style?
Yes. Smooth Skin works on top of your AI Profile, so it fits how you already edit and doesn’t change your color, light or contrast.
Can I review and adjust the results?
